S2 E7 – The Beatles Live At The BBC, Pt. 1 – Songwriter/Musician Alun Piggins

Alun Piggins, the former front man of the Canadian, early 90s, grunge band The Morganfields, drops by on this episode to talk with host Paul Romanuk about The Beatles 1994 release The Beatles Live At The BBC.

Alun's music - both playing in bands and as a solo artist - has been heavily influenced by his early days spent listening to Beatles records. He talks about those influences as well as telling a few great stories about his days spent playing bars and clubs around the world (the "Detroit Concert" story from when he was with The Morganfields is laugh out loud funny).

Be sure to check out Alun's great website for loads of info about him, his career and his music at alunpiggins.com

Here's a link to his Bandcamp page.

Although I do talk about this in the episode, here is a more detailed listing of all of The Beatles appearances at the BBC and what they played on each show.
